About Laura Braziel

Laura Braziel is a Licensed Professional Counselor, Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist, and Certified EMDR Therapist. Additionally, Laura has completed studies under ISSTD's Professional Training Program for advanced education in treating Complex-PTSD and Dissociative Disorders.

Laura has been providing counseling services to the Houston, Texas area since 2008. She specializes in working with adolescents and adults to treat trauma-based disorders and anxiety, as well as providing psychoeducation and support to parents and caregivers.

Laura enjoys public speaking within the community and studying wholistic health. She and her husband have one dog of their own and often volunteer through a local animal rescue to foster dogs.

Laura's personal faith aligns with Christian biblical views. Her practice is informed by ethical and moral standards of excellence which includes a humble respect and acceptance for those whose spiritual beliefs may differ from her own. Laura is also a credentialed member of New Life Ministries.
